2024 Holiday Season: HRPro Gives Back!
This holiday season, HRPro is spreading joy and making a difference in our community! Giving back is at the heart of what we do, and we’re proud to continue our tradition of supporting local causes and helping those in need.
Together, we can brighten the season for families across Metro Detroit. We’re collecting donations to support two incredible local organizations, and we invite you to help make an impact!
Supporting New Moms and Families
MISSION: To provide support, inspire confidence, and enhance the quality of life for women, expectant mothers, and their children, leading to health, happiness, and safety.
Items Needed for New Moms:
- Parenting books (e.g., What to Expect the First Year) – High Priority
- Women’s large slippers
- Journals & pens
- Small baby picture frames (smaller than 5×7)
- Women’s fuzzy socks
- Chapstick
- Travel-size toiletries (lotion, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant for mom’s hospital bag)
- Toothbrushes & toothpaste
- Postpartum belly wraps
- Postpartum tea
- Sleep masks & essential oils
- Small baby toys (rattles & teething rings)
- Mini cookies & chocolates
Items to Keep Families Warm:
- Blankets (preferably wool; please place in plastic bags)
- Gloves:
Men’s (L-XXL)
Women’s (M-XL)
Children’s (all sizes)
Fighting Hunger in Metro Detroit
MISSION: To alleviate hunger and promote human dignity by providing nourishing meals and groceries in a welcoming, inclusive environment.
Items Needed:
- Non-perishable food items (canned or pantry staples; freshly expired is okay)
- Vitamins (open or unopened)
- Toiletries (travel, full, or family-sized; opened or unopened)
- Toilet paper and paper towels
- Diapers (any size)
- Baby food or formula
- Dishwashing or laundry supplies (opened or new)
