Why We Were There

As a Resource Partner with MISHRM, HRPro supports the mission of bringing HR professionals together in Michigan, enabling networking, professional development, and the sharing of best practices. The 2025 MISHRM conference — themed “Authenticity in Action” — aligned directly with our approach to HR: putting people first, embracing change, and delivering practical solutions in HR consulting, payroll, benefits administration, and compliance.

Our Mission at the Booth

At the conference, our booth served three key purposes:

1. Connect with HR professionals — to listen to their challenges and share insights on HR consulting, payroll and HRIS administration, and benefits/COBRA compliance.

2. Showcase our solutions — demonstrating how we help organizations free up time, reduce risk, and focus on their people.

3. Engage with S’more fun — yes, we leaned into the campfire theme, ensuring that authenticity and connection were memorable and human.

Highlights & Takeaways

• We were inspired by the keynote sessions and breakout tracks focused on authentic leadership, inclusive culture, and driving organizational success. These discussions underscored how HR is evolving from process-oriented to people-centric.

• The exhibit hall was buzzing with energy. With over 90 exhibitors and many attendees eager to engage, it was a powerful opportunity to network, exchange ideas, and build new partnerships.

• We had meaningful conversations with HR leaders about real challenges: COBRA administration, payroll accuracy, HRIS integration, benefits communication, and staying compliant in a changing regulatory environment.

• A fun moment: Our booth’s s’mores station sparked smiles, conversations, and reminded everyone that HR is about people — authentic, connected, and human.

What We Learned & What’s Next
